Health education and screening program was organised by ANMDA on 30th December 2017 in collaboration with Nepalese Society of Tasmania (NEST) and Bhutanese community members of Hobart. About 70 Nepalese speaking community members attended the program. Medical team from ANMDA Dr Ghana Chapagain, Dr Chandra Pokharel, Dr Prabin Pathak, Dr Anju Pandey and Dr Keshav Bhattarai were involved in health education and awareness and clinical screening programme. Active involvement of NEST executive members Pradeep Dhungana, Sanjay Gautam and Punam Panta and Bhutanese community leader Mr Khadga Thapa was highly appreciated. The program was also supported by nurse Sabita Dhakal and Pradeep KC and other NEST executive members.
